Nanchang, Jiangxi holds another aviation competition, 6 foreign aerobatic teams will compete in the blue sky

During a press conference held in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province on October 14, officials announced that the 2024 China Aviation Industry Conference and Nanchang Flight Expo will take place from November 2 to 4 at the Yaohu Airport in Nanchang High-tech Zone.

Vice Mayor of Nanchang, Yu Hongyan, shared details about this year’s joint event, which will span three days and feature a variety of activities. These include keynote presentations, specialized forums with experts and academicians, parallel discussion sessions, exhibitions, an opening ceremony, dynamic flight displays, and promotional activities for the aviation industry, along with a civil aviation showcase and an aerospace science exhibition.

“We’ve invited over 300 industry experts and outstanding entrepreneurs from the aviation sector to participate in the keynote sessions and specialized seminars,” Yu said. “During these discussions, we will focus on key topics such as the direction and planning of the aviation industry, cutting-edge technologies, and the low-altitude economy.”

The China Aviation Industry Conference and Nanchang Flight Expo have successfully held five editions so far. “Last year’s Nanchang Flight Expo featured a performance by the Chinese Air Force’s ‘Flying Hawks’ team, which included a breathtaking flyover of the Tengwang Pavilion and a stunning aerial fireworks display. This year, we’re excited to announce upgrades to both performances. In addition to aerial fireworks, we are incorporating special effects with acrobatic flying, promising an even more striking visual experience,” noted Wu Qianjin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Nanchang High-tech Zone.

Furthermore, this year’s flight expo will host six international acrobatic flight teams, including those from Russia, France, and the United States, bringing a fresh and thrilling experience for the audience.

Notably, during the industry-focused activities, the hosts will conduct promotional events aimed at key investment enterprises in the Nanchang aviation sector, providing a platform for showcasing the latest achievements and technologies and continuing to enhance the aviation industry ecosystem.
