On the afternoon of October 15, General Secretary Xi Jinping visited the Gu Wenchang Memorial Hall in Dongshan County, Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province. During his visit, he learned about the touching stories of Comrade Gu Wenchang and engaged in warm conversations with representatives of the Gu Wenchang Cadre Academy, including teachers and students.
Xi noted that Comrade Gu Wenchang is widely respected and deeply admired in Fujian, representing the countless outstanding leaders of the Communist Party of China. “When we study his legacy,” Xi emphasized, “we should not only hold him in high regard but also aspire to emulate him. We must strive to conduct ourselves and govern like him, serving every community we are tasked with. Walking this path is the right way forward for humanity.”
