In an interview with a meteorology expert, we learned about the forecast for Beijing over the next couple of days, specifically from October 24 to 25. The expert described a primarily sunny outlook, with temperatures expected to climb to a high of 20°C. However, they also noted that atmospheric conditions for dispersion will gradually worsen, leading to some foggy conditions.
Yesterday, the weather in Beijing was bright and sunny, complemented by a gentle breeze. The temperatures quickly rose, creating a picturesque autumn day. Notably, as the season transitions into frost, there is a significant temperature variation between day and night. For instance, early this morning, the temperature at the Southern Suburbs Observatory was just 5.3°C.
As we look ahead, the expert mentioned that today and tomorrow will predominantly feature sunny weather, but with deteriorating dispersion conditions and declining visibility at night. A mild cold front is expected to bring some light precipitation the day after tomorrow.
According to the Beijing Meteorological Station, today’s forecast indicates a mix of sunshine and clouds, with light fog this morning and a wind shifting from north to south at 2 to 3 levels. The maximum temperature is anticipated to reach 20°C, while tonight will see partly cloudy skies, with temperatures dropping to a low of 7°C in areas south-east experiencing fog.
The meteorology expert also cautioned that due to the gradually worsening dispersion conditions and poor visibility at night, drivers should be particularly vigilant. With the arrival of the frost season, the sharp contrast between daytime and nighttime temperatures means cooler mornings and evenings; hence, it’s advisable for the public to dress warmly when going outside.
