Nigerian football sensation Rasheedat Ajibade has been awarded the Player of the Month for September in Spain’s Liga F, following an outstanding performance with Atletico Madrid.
The 24-year-old forward made waves last month by scoring five goals in just four league matches, demonstrating her exceptional talent and leaving defenders in her wake.
In claiming this prestigious award, Ajibade surpassed some tough competition, including Barcelona’s Ewa Pajor, Real Madrid’s Caroline Weir, Levante Badalona’s María Llompart, and Athletic Club Femenino’s Nerea Nevado.
As it stands, Ajibade is the second leading scorer in Liga F, just behind Pajor. Her impressive contributions have helped lift Atletico Madrid to third place in the league standings, trailing only Barcelona and Real Madrid.
